Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate

DC 939 is an emulsion blend containing silicone, cationic conditioner, and emulsifier. Amodimethicone is an amino-functional silicone having higher deposition on hair fibers. It is blended with cationic hair detangler, Cetrimonium chloride. The blend gives superior hair conditioning, hair detangling, softness, and shine to curly hair.
Amodimethicone is completely different from traditional silicones e.g. Dimethicone, Simethicone, & Phenyltrimethicone, etc. It contains amino (-NH2) groups attached to the silicone backbone. This amino group greatly alters the physical & chemical properties of parent silicone molecules. The resultant amino silicones (Amodimethicone) become more hydrophilic (water-loving) due to the hydrophilic nature of amino groups. This Amodimethicone is further modified by emulsifying it in water employing surfactants, cetrimonium chloride, and tridecth-12. Both these surfactants boost the water solubility of Amodimethicone and make it Curl Friendly water-soluble silicone. Due to the special fatty acid composition, it also offers a special cream butter texture to conditioner which is an amazing experience during application.
- Sodium PCA
Sodium Pyrrolidone Carboxylate (Sodium PCA) is a natural humectant derived from L-Glutamic acid. It is abundant in human skin as a component of NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor). This humectant keeps hair evenly hydrated and especially for curly hair, this ensures a well-defined curl pattern. The key advantage of using PCA is its aesthetic feature imparting hydration without any stickiness or heavy feel.
- Cocoamidopropyl Betaine
It is an amphoteric surfactant added to Leave-in Conditioner. It provides emulsion stability and also cleanses hair curls during the conditioner application. This soft cleansing removes metal or polymeric buildup from the curl twists and gives them a natural bouncy look.
- Sapindus Mukorossi (Reetha) Extract
Reetha is also an Indian traditional hair cleansing herb. It is a rich source of saponin that why it is called soap nut.
